The New Normal:

The only thing more dangerous than being together is being apart.

4 F, 1 M.

Maggie, a preschool teacher in NYC, recently estranged from her abusive lover, has to navigate the shared global trauma of the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, in her junior studio apartment with only Siri, and her part time dog, by her side.

This play is a celebration of the strength of the human spirit. Both a meditation on what we have weathered and a hope for a return to a future that could be more equitable and centered on humanity as it currently is, not as we wish it would be or as it never was. It’s a call to unity and collective healing in the midst of our ever mounting storms.
