Women Alone in the Wilderness:

6 F, 1 Child. Full Length

Patty, appears to have everything under control, until a wild weekend in the woods with her daughter’s Girl Scout troop, reveals an uncomfortable truth… her current survival strategies might cost her her life.

The second play in her ‘Supreme Court Series’, set on the eve of Clarence Thomas’s confirmation to the supreme court, October 1991. Leaning into the campiness and optimism of the early 90’s neuvo-feminism, this play uncomfortably asks why women have believed that they are all alone in the wilderness? Is there hope for humanity if women cannot reconnect with what is sacred, ferocious and wildly wonderful in themselves and in their collective power?
